Brilliantly observed jokes and odd stories from a feral comedy mind. Simon Jablonski wades through the mundanity of Generation Hummus and grapples with everything from the death of God, losing a sock and what jobs we can offer cartographers. So grab a bread stick and dip into his bland new world!

As a comedy writer, Simon has written a sitcom called Elegance that was optioned. He was also commissioned by the BBC in 2016 to write a sketch for Russ Abbot for his comeback special — as you probably noticed, Russ Abbot didn’t come back.

Simon started out as a performer in Derby, where he was born, playing guitar in bands, which

he did professionally from the age of 20. He gigged all over the country, played V Festival, did sessions for Radio 1, XFM and Radio 6 and had an album out in Japan.

After cocking that up, Simon moved to London and worked for 5 years as a journalist. He has written for a number of publications including The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Little White Lies and Dazed & Confused. He nearly died of malnutrition, but he did get to interview a bunch of his heroes including Grayson Perry, Nicolas Cage and Wes Anderson.

He has no idea what he’s doing now.
