This coming weekend the excellent Capital Sci-Fi Con will return to Meadowbank Sports Centre as they gather together to welcome stars from the world of comic books, TV and Film.

After last year’s successful showing raised more than £13,000, the team have been on the road around Edinburgh, Fife, and the Lothians already generating massive amounts of money for CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland).

This year’s line-up includes cast members from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Rony Bridges & Nathalie Cuzner), The Voice of Johnny Bravo (Marc Silk) and Hannah Spearritt, now sci-fi journeywoman but formerly of S-Club 7.  From the world of comics, Glaswegian Gary Erskine (Judge Dredd, Captain America & Roller Grrrls) and Tanya Roberts (TMNT & Toy Story) are among the many signed up to appear.

The show runs both Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of February with doors opening at 10am.  

On Sunday expect a  collection of people bringing their best cosplay as they aim to win the much sought-after title of Best Costume.  

For fans of all ages, this is a must visit event, with over 50 exhibitors you may even track down a much sort after collectables or autographs.  Weekend tickets are £18 for adults or £8 for children. Day tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children and can be bought on the door.
