Scotland will host Switzerland, Serbia and Montenegro in their UEFA European Under-17 Championship Elite Round in March as they aim to reach their fourth consecutive finals.

The team were among the top seeds for the draw based on their qualifying results and are also ranked sixth in all of Europe thanks to recent impressive results.

Scotland topped their qualification group in September, beating Malta, Wales and reigning under-17 champions Portugal.

The venues will be confirmed in due course with this yearā€™s Elite Round taking on added significance as it acts as a Qualifying Round for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup to be held in India in October 2017.

Scotland Under-19s will take on Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary having reached the Elite Round stage for the fifth successive year.

In qualifying, the team overcame Andorra and Liechtenstein and they will be aiming to make their first finals appearance since 2006, when the team reached the semi-finals.

The qualifying rounds for the 2017/18 competition were also drawn. Scotland Under-17s will play Denmark, Estonia and Andorra in October with the Under-19s playing Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Armenia in November.
