Amy Gallacher has signed for Hibernian Ladies from Forfar Farmington.

The Scotland U19 international picked up the Supporters Player of the Year award at Forfar, who were relegated from the SWPL last season.

The 17-year-old has now signed up for the 17/18 season with Chris Roberts’ side, who will be looking to build on a successful campaign and challenge for the league title following last season’s double cup victory.

Amy told the club website: “I am delighted to have joined Hibernian. It’s a step up but one I am really looking forward to.

“Hibernian is the best place to be to develop my game. Everyone has been very welcoming so far and I am looking forward to settling in here.”

Head Coach Roberts said: “We are very excited to have Amy signed up for the new season.

“For us she is one of the most exciting prospects in the Scottish game at the moment. She has three seasons of game time already and she’ll relish the opportunity to learn and progress here.

“She is an attack minded player and will add to the options we already have at our disposal.”
