Garry Parker believes that Hibs should be burying teams with the number of chances that the players are creating.

Last weekend, Hibs totally dominated possession against Raith Rovers before falling behind to a goal against the run of play.

A late equaliser from Martin Boyle secured a share of the points but Neil Lennon’s assistant insisted that if the players can continue to play as they have been doing then they are capable of returning from Falkirk tomorrow with all three points although he does expect a tough game.

Hibs will be without first choice goalkeeper Ofir Marciano as well as midfielders John McGinn and Fraser Fyvie.

Speaking to Hibernian TV, Parker said: “Against Raith Rovers we created so many chances. I think if we had got the first goal we would have gone on to win comfortably. Their keeper had a good game but we should be burying teams with the chances we are creating.

“If we are not creating chances that would be a worry but because we are creating chances  it’s pleasing.

“We changed things for that game and brought young Scotty (Scott Martin) in and I thought he did OK. He’s good at winning the ball back for us and it was a good game for him and we are very pleased with him.

We are looking forward to it. It’s a big game and a game we want to win and need to win.

“Hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves on the astro pitch,

“Falkirk is a tough game. We know what their strengths are, set-pieces, long throws and getting balls into the box. We need to deal with that and be solid at the back.

“I’m looking at going the other way, with creativity, creating chances and putting the ball into the net. If we can do that, then we’ve got every chance.

“We have a choice and have a few midfield players that we can pick and at the end of the day it’s about picking he right personnel to win the game.”
