Three Edinburgh clubs could earn the accolade of having the best golf hole in Britain.
Bruntsfield Links (16th hole), The Merchants of Edinburgh (13th hole), and Murrayfield (10th) have been shortlisted as finalists in the UK’s Greatest Amateur Hole competition.

The winning club receives a commemorative plaque while the golfer who nominated the hole will win a Scotty Cameron putter worth £280.

The competition organisers, BusinessInsuranceFor.com, will donate £500 on behalf of the winning golf club to The Golf Foundation, a charity committed to helping encouraging more young people to take up the game.

The deadline for casting your vote at https://www.businessinsurancefor.com/grass-roots-golf-award is before 12pm on Thursday 1 December 2016.

The winning entry will be based on the highest number of public votes coupled with the decision of a judging panel of Brendon Pyle, Chief Executive of The Golf Foundation, Michael Coffey, Publisher at The Golf Club Secretary and Traviss Willcox, Editor of Golf Today.
