Forfar Athletic 0 Edinburgh City 1 – William Hill Scottish Cup Second Round Replay

Edinburgh City finally recorded their first win of what has already been a long season when they defeated Forfar Athletic in their William Hill Scottish Cup second round replay at Station Park on Tuesday evening.

As in the first game at Meadowbank ten days ago, this was a tight affair but it was settled by a goal from City’s Ross Allum in the 63rd minute.

City’s first win of the season has been a long time coming but Gary Jardine’s men will relish their next Scottish Cup tie, away to League One side East Fife in the next round.

City return to Angus on Saturday to face Montrose in the Ladbrokes League Two and will fancy their chances of breaking their league duck.
