The 20th Edinburgh Independent and Radical Book Fair takes place at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall between 26 and 30 October.
The hall becomes a mecca for all forms of literature and is supported by a programme of authors talks and events. All organised by Word Power Books the alternative book festival also has film screenings and books for sale.
James Kelman opens the Book Fair on 26 October at 19:00.
