Young people from Muirhouse Youth Development Group will be a part of the showcase of talent at the Just Festival at St John’s Venue 127 on 20 August at 7.30pm.

Discovery! is a musical celebration and the show is created and performed by young people and artists who will take you on a journey to South and west Africa and back to the UK with Botswana dance, Senegalese drums and Scottish rap.

Emma Picken, Be United’s Co-Founder and Creative Producer said:  “Our unique showcase is the culmination of music & performance workshops delivered to young people around Scotland alongside visiting artists. Discovery! has sparked passion in the hearts of the people involved, inspiring them by actively engaging & learning about new genres of music & dance. Our show is about experiencing & appreciating new cultures. It’s a celebration of our colourful world and all the varieties of music, dance & performances on offer.”
