Planet Caramel are a high concept, high octane sketch trio from Edinburgh, whose brand of comedy – like the caramel wafer you’ll get for free just for coming to see them – is short and sweet.

Prepare to enter their fast-paced surreal world – a place where whales fret about their weight, your bin will force you to eat your recycling and Michaelangelo has the hands of a baby.

Planet Caramel are Alex Harwood, David Blair and Richard Duffy, three left-field offshoots from The Edinburgh Revue. They were involved in the writing, performing and directing of every single one of the Revue’s Fringe shows since 2011 and they formed Planet Caramel in 2014.

They now return to the Fringe with their second show A Taste of Planet Caramel. They may even be hosting special guests during the Fringe…

Their comedy takes influence from the brevity of The Sketch Show with the surreal edge of Peter Serafinowicz and aims to put strong concept-based sketch comedy back on the map.
