The Economy Convener Councillor Gavin Barrie cut the ribbon on the new buses which will be used on the brand new Edinburgh-based route. The extra special thing about these new buses is that they are convertible, so with one push of a button all the passengers on board can enjoy the sunshine or be protected from the rain.

The tours will allow the anticipated 60,000 passengers to enjoy the architecture of the city under a glass roof if need be.

The company has invested £350,000 in these new vehicles and seven jobs have been created.

The Chief Executive and Founder of Rabbie’s Trail Burners, Robin Worsnop, said: “With over a year in the planning and much investment, I am excited to see the launch of Rabbie’s City Tours. These uniquely designed mini-coach convertibles are ideal for our Edinburgh visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the city’s architecture and history, whatever the weather!”
