Hibs’ Head Coach Alan Stubbs has confirmed that first choice goalkeeper Mark Oxley will replace Conrad Logan in the Hibernian team for tomorrow’s Championship clash with Rangers.

The Irishman won ‘Man of the Match’ in Saturday’s Scottish Cup semi-final win over Dundee United,  keeping  a clean sheet and saving two penalties in the shootout, but despite his heroics he will not make his home debut.

Stubbs did however indicate that the former Leicester City keeper has done himself no harm for future selections.

Stubbs told BBC Scotland: ” Ox (Mark Oxley) is my number one. Conrad has come in and done magnificently and was rightly named man-of-the-match.

“He’s done himself no harm whatsoever, pushing for a place. Every manager wants competition for places and he has raised the bar.

“We’re delighted to have him. He’s been great since he’s come here and he needs to keep putting Mark under pressure.”
