Police are appealing for information to help trace a 64-year-old man reported missing.
James Barr was last seen near Haymarket Station at around 8pm on Thursday 22 October.
James is described as white, 5ft 5inches tall, with a slim build. He has short grey hair and a grey moustache.
He is believed to have been wearing a long brown jacket, brown trousers, black shoes and a flat cap.
James has been known to frequent the Dalry Road and Colinton Mains Drive areas.
Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward.
Inspector Simon Acheson of Gayfield said: “We’re growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of James, who has numerous health concerns and may appear disorientated.
“We’re urging anyone who thinks they may have seen James since Thursday evening, or who can help us establish his whereabouts, to get in touch.”
