Hibs completed their pre-season training camp in La Manga with a bounce game against Wigan Athletic on Saturday evening.

New signing Fraser Fyvie gave Hibs an early lead against his old club, but two late goals from Martyn Waghorn ensured Wigan, who are managed by former Hibs defender Gary Caldwell, won the game 2-1.

Head Coach Alan Stubbs said: “The training camp in La Manga was absolutely fantastic and it provided us with the perfect platform to get some essential work done.

“We now move on to the trip down to Berwick on Tuesday night and everybody is looking forward to the upcoming friendly games.”

The squad will now face Berwick Rangers at Shielfield Park on Tuesday evening (14 July, kick off 7.45pm, admission: £10 Adults, £5 Concessions).
