Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in Dalkeith.

David Black was last seen in St Andrews Street, Dalkeith about 5pm on Tuesday 15th July.

Since then the 32-year-old has not been in contact with family or friends and concern is now growing for his welfare.

David is described as 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build, brown bowl cut length hair. He is believed to be wearing light trousers possibly chino style, a navy blue parker style raincoat.

Anyone who believes they have seen him is asked to come forward.

Inspector Calum Welsh said: “David was last seen in St Andrews Street, Dalkeith and his present whereabouts are currently unknown. As such, we keen to trace him as soon as possible.

“Members of the public are asked to contact police immediately if they can assist officers with their investigation to trace him.”
