Poster Art of Modern China 1913-1997.  A selection of 133 propaganda posters on loan from the Propaganda Poster Art Centre, Shanghai. Opens today at Adam House, Chambers Street and continues every day 10am-6pm to 12th July 2014.  Free and unticketed.  One hour guided tours available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at 10.30am and 3pm, on a first come, first served basis, book at registration desk on 3rd floor.  Group tours also available by prior arrangement.  A University of Edinburgh and Confucius Institute for Scotland exhibition.

St. Columba's Hospice, EdinburghFriends of St Columba’s Hospice Art Exhibition.  A chance to buy original and affordable art from some of Scotland’s most popular and well-known artists.  All proceeds will go towards the rebuilding of St Columba’s Hospice.  11am-5pm Freemasons’ Hall, 96 George Street.  Free entry. Chamber Music Concert: the Friends of Music of St Giles’ Cathedral present a programme of chamber music for clarinet trio performed by Edinburgh Young Musicians Tyan Penman (clarinet), Gemma Connor (cello) and Chris Harding (piano.)  8pm St Giles’ Cathedral, Royal Mile. Admission by programme £5.
