Police are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in the Capital.

Jonathan Davidson was last seen in Smith’s Place at around 5.15pm yesterday (Saturday).

Since then, however, the 23-year-old is has not been seen or heard from and concern is now growing for his well-being.

Anyone who can assist officers with their enquiries to locate Jonathan is asked to contact police immediately.

He is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall with a slim build, medium length and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark parka-style jacket and a yellow/brown checked shirt.

Inspector Allan Symington said: “Since last being seen on Saturday evening Jonathan has not made any contact with family or friends and we are eager to establish his whereabouts as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well.

“Anyone who believes they have seen him since his last sighting on Smith’s Place is asked to come forward.

“Similarly, anyone with any further information relating to Jonathan’s location is also asked to get in touch.”
