Dr. Pun Ishment lays down Team Punishment’s credentials:

Both teams will clash at the Pleasance Grand in front of 800 bloodthirsty fans. Bodies will be bruised, egos will be smashed and, if last time round is anything to go by, bones will be broken. The creation of comedy duo MAX AND IVAN, THE WRESTLING II will be an even bigger date on the calendar than the first event two years ago, which secured the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards Panel Prize and was named Chortle’s #1 show of 2011.

The night itself will feature THREE death-defying bouts; first to be announced is TOM ‘EXPLOSENTHAL’ ROSENTHAL, of Team Punishment, vs DAN ‘THE HAMMER’ HEAD, of Team O’Hanlon.

Now, with the Team Captains announced, stay tuned for the remaining match-ups and combatants to be revealed over the course of the next fortnight, as the trash-talking commences and both teams try to get in the head of their opponents.
