Haymarket improvements – Water of Leith Conservation Trust – Puppet Animation Festival – Science Festival – New ArtHunter app launched today

 

Haymarket has long had a gap site requiring some attention and now it seems that is back on track with the announcement of a joint venture company who will use the site to build retail, office and serviced apartments in a £200m development.

The Water of Leith Conservation Trust have launched an audio trail to take you the entire length of the river from Balerno to Leith. There are 20 tracks which you can download and listen to as you walk.

Puppet Animation Festival are showing Wall-E this afternoon at 3:00pm in the Fletcher Building at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. More details here. Tickets cost £3.
