The latest well kent face to arrive in the Charlotte Square Garden today is former Prime Minister, Gordon Brown. His session is a complete sell-out and people have been queuing for returns most of the day. This is the NLS Donald Dewar Lecture and Brown is expected to paint a picture of Scotland and Britain as he believes it will be for future generations. Donald Dewar was the first First Minister, and is thought to have been highly regarded by Brown.

He is said to be talking about the decline of Britishness in Scotland, among many other things. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for any updates.

There were loads of photographers waiting for him at the back gate of the garden.
