Police in Edinburgh have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man in connection with a cannabis cultivation discovered in the Greenbank area of the Capital.

Officers discovered the cultivation on 4 June 2012, at an address in Morham Lea.

Approximately £8,850 worth of cannabis was discovered, along with associated growing equipment worth in the region of £20,000.

The man who was arrested appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday (Tuesday), where he was remanded in custody.
