THE PLAYERS LOUNGE – AHEAD OF THE GAME FOR FIVE YEARS
The Players Lounge, Edinburgh’s only one-stop shop for male grooming, is celebrating its fifth birthday in May this year.
To celebrate the occasion, The Players Lounge is running a competition to find the five best-groomed men in Edinburgh, who will each win one of five prizes. The prizes include a haircut, a hot shave, a manicure, a facial or a grooming package.
The overall winner will also win a year’s worth of haircuts.
To enter the competition, entrants are required to send in an application, including a headshot, along with 100 words on how they keep themselves well groomed and why they deserve to win the competition. The closing date for entries is 31 May.
The Players Lounge is also offering 20% off all of its services during May.
Owner, Suzie Gillespie, said: “Our aim from the start has been to create a welcoming and friendly salon, providing the best male grooming available. Over the last five years more and more customers have come to us for stylish haircuts, colouring, hot towel shaves, facials and manicures.
“They tell us that being as well groomed as possible provides them with an added confidence that can be very helpful in today’s competitive job market and business environment.”
She added: “We know Edinburgh has many well groomed men and we’re looking forward to lots of applications for our competition.”
