One of the bills to be debated at The Scottish Parliament in this session is that relating to a single police force. But this does not mean that either Edinburgh or Glasgow will be used as the base for the unified body. The Scotsman reports that Justice Minister, Kenny McAskill, has hinted it might be Tulliallan where the Scottish Police College is already sited.

At Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday the owners of the Forrest Road Subway appeared to face charges of failing to ensure the shop was kept clean, The Daily Record reports.
