Cricket Scotland have announced their squad for the coming Tri-series with Sri Lanka and Ireland taking place at Citylets Grange with their first fixture taking place on July 12 against Ireland followed by recent World Cup finalists Sri Lanka the following day on 13 July.
The selectors named a similar side for the Tri-series following on from last week’s ODI victories against the Dutch. Alasdair Evans is replaced by Ryan Flannigan who has recently been in good domestic form.
Following the announcement Coach Pete Steindl commented “As a squad we are all looking forward to the challenges that Ireland and Sri Lanka will bring. We will be looking to improve on our performances from last week and show similar fighting spirits. I feel we have selected a well balanced squad and all the players have been working extremely hard and rightfully earned their place to represent their country”.

Gordon Drummond (captain), Fraser Watts, Ryan Flannigan, Josh Davey, Kyle Coetzer, Neil MacCallum, Majid Haq, Gregor Maiden (wicketkeeper), Richard Berrington, Gordon Goudie, Safyaan Sharif, Preston Mommsen, Calum MacLeod.
