This year’s Festival Fringe is bigger than ever and the whole three weeks will see 2,542 shows staged by 21,192 performers, and there will be an unbelievable 41,689 performances taking place in 258 venues. 607 shows are free and 1319 are world premieres.
At the programme launch this morning we caught up with the chap in green who is a member of the Fringe Squad and 
Councillor Steve Cardownie who told us how much he adores being the Festivals Champion
