You should not be wary of gift vouchers. They are a really good idea of making it easy on you and giving the recipient something they may actually want for a change… The socks and perfume route are al well and good if you know the person quite well. But if you really haven’t got a clue then go the voucher route.All the major department stores will sell you vouchers, there are book tokens and iTunes cards, vouchers for facials and massages and days at the various spas around the city.
As well as that you can buy vouchers for cinemas such as The Dominion, allowing the person to go without you or choose a film they want to see.
But one of the nicest we have found is a voucher for dinner and cinema at The Scotsman Screening Room.
