Transform Scotland is holding an election event to give the public the opportunity of quizzing the SNP about their plans for Scottish transport. The event will take place at the City Chambers tomorrow evening 15 March 2016 beginning at 6:00pm.
The event, ‘Transform Platform for the SNP’, welcomes Mike Mackenzie MSP, Parliamentary Liaison Officer to transport minister Derek Mackay, to set out the SNP’s plans for Scottish transport.
The event will be hosted by Cllr Adam McVey, Vice-Convener of City of Edinburgh Council’s Transport and Environment Committee.
The event will commence at 6pm (registration from 5.30pm) and will run until 7.15pm. The event will be followed by a drinks reception for further discussion.
Both members of the public and individuals from the transport sector are welcome to attend the event. The event is free but ticketed; tickets can be reserved through our website at <https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/transform-platform-for-the-snp-tickets-19780167012>.
Commenting on the event, Transform Scotland spokesperson Jamie Wylie said: “We’re pleased to welcome Mike Mackenzie to speak at the fourth of our election events, Transform Platform for the SNP. Following the success of our previous election events, we’re looking forward to hearing the SNP’s proposals for the transport sector over the course of the next five years.”
