Volunteer facilities assistants are being sought for Whitburn’s Community centre.
The community centre which was taken over earlier this year by the town’s Community Development Trust is looking to train up staff to run the reception area.
Jobs will include welcoming customers, handling phone inquiries, room bookings and enquiries, and setting up rooms for customers.
Billie Hamilton, the Community development Worker with the Trust, said: “Whitburn Community Development Trust requires volunteers to support the day-to-day operation of Whitburn Community Centre, helping visitors, assisting with room booking and set-ups, and ensuring the building remains welcoming for the whole community.
“We have flexible opportunities during weekdays where you can contribute a few hours per week or support on an occasional basis.”
