Two motorists have been charged with failing to adhere to the no entry / one way system on Silverknowes Avenue.
Officers conducted pro-active patrols in the area over the past two days in response to complaints from local residents.
In addition a motorcyclist was issued with a police warning and a driver was arrested for drink driving.
Officers will continue to monitor the situation.
A police spokesperson said: “In response to local complaints about drivers failing to adhere to the no entry signs/one way system on Silverknowes Avenue, officers carried out patrols in the area on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“This resulted in two charges for failing to adhere to the no entry signs, a motorcyclist being issued with a police warning and a driver being arrested and reported for drink driving.
“Officers will continue to patrol in the area to deter similar behaviour in future.”
