Teenage winger Aron Benjaminsen has put pen to paper with Hearts on a four-year deal and the 18-year-old is considered one of the most promising young talents in Faroese football.
He moved to Norway as a 16-year-old and made his professional debut in a Norwegian Cup match in April last year.
He returned to the Faroes and joined Vikingur in March this year and featured in each leg of the club’s UEFA Conference League qualifier against an Icelandic team.
Benjaminsen has been capped three times for the Faroe Islands under-21 side and he now arrives in Edinburgh to continue his development.
Meanwhile, Sander Kartum has left Hearts by mutual consent after arriving in January 2025 and making 17 appearances, scoring twice.
