Drummond Trinity Cricket Club (DTCC) have celebrated a notable 2026 season with the club’s 1st XI crowned East of Scotland Cricket Association Championship winners.
The 1st XI played 18 matches, winning 13, and finished the campaign as Championship winners.
There were also outstanding individual performances with Siddanth Panneri scoring more than 1100 runs to earn the Championship’s Best Batsman award, while Naveen Koden took 32 wickets, finishing as the Championship’s second-highest wicket-taker.
DTCC’s 2nd XI finished third in ESCA Division 2, with Chaithanya Parthipati named Division 2 Best Bowler after taking 30 wickets. He also contributed 311 runs, while Nagaraj scored 331 runs.
The 3rd XI finished sixth in Division 4, with Phanidhar Pratipati scoring 357 runs, while Naresh and Pavan took 23 wickets each.
The 4th XI recorded nine wins in Division 7 and for the second successive year were awarded the FairPlay prize. Anirban scored an impressive 583 runs, finishing third among the division’s leading run-scorers, while Anil Gala took 25 wickets, finishing fourth among the division’s leading wicket-takers and leading DTCC’s 4th XI bowling charts.
The 5th XI continued its important role as DTCC’s development side, providing opportunities for emerging players to gain experience and progress into the higher teams.
