Walker’s Shortbread is bringing a touch of Speyside magic and travel relief to the streets of the capital on 20 August.
The official Walker’s ‘Magic Taxi’ will be hidden among the fleet of Walker’s branded taxis, displaying the businesses latest campaign image featuring brand ambassador Sir Andy Murray and will offer passengers the finest Scottish hospitality with a free bite size performance and plenty of buttery shortbread.
Festival-goers, locals, and visitors navigating the busy city centre who are lucky enough to flag down this unique cab will enjoy a completely free ride to their city-centre destination, complimentary packs of Walker’s new Wee Chunkies all butter shortbread bites baked in Speyside, and an exclusive in-cab magic performance by acclaimed Fringe magician Elliot Bibby (Insane Magic).
Bringing together Scotland at its finest, world-class Fringe entertainment, and iconic Scottish baking, the experience offers a fun, bite-sized experience designed to help festival-goers make the most of their busy schedule.

Members of the public can test their luck by hailing down participating cabs marked with the Walker’s tartan and Andy Murray branding 9.00am and 12.00pm (noon) on Thursday morning across central Edinburgh.
