Police are appealing for information to help trace a 31-year-old woman missing from South Queensferry.
Melissa Barnes was reported missing on Wednesday, 24 June, 2026, and was last seen in Garvald Street, Edinburgh about 5am on Saturday, 13 June, 2026.
She is described as being around 5ft3in tall, with long fair/blonde hair. Her current clothing is not known.
Inspector Crerar said: “It is unusual for Melissa not to be in touch with family or friends and our enquiries are ongoing to trace her.
“I am appealing for anyone who has seen Melissa or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.
“I would also ask Melissa herself to get in touch to let us know she is safe.”
