French forward Amadou Ba-Sy is the latest player to join Hearts and the 6ft 3in striker joins the Jambos on a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee from Championnat National side FC Rouen, a club in the third tier of French football.
The 25-year-old is a product of Nice’s youth system and he then helped Dunkerque to promotion to Ligue 2, the second tier of French football, before joining FC Vizela in Portugal.
He then had a loan spell at Portuguese side Academica de Coimbra and helped them beat relegation.
Last season, Ba-Sy’s ten goals in 29 appearances helped to earn a third place finish, ten points behind title winners, Dijon, and three adrift of runners-up, Sochaux, missing out on promotion to Ligue 2 by three points, before Rouen lost in the play-off final.
Hearts describe him as a technically gifted striker.
