Hibs will go into the 2026-27 Europa Conference League second qualifying round.
After finishing in fifth place, Hibs European hopes depended on champions Celtic beating Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park this afternoon.
Last year Hibs finished in third place but were denied group stage football when Aberdeen won the trophy beating Celtic in the final.
This time however Celtic made no mistake and Martin O’Neil’s side completed the double.
Daizen Maeda opened the scoring in the 19th minute then Arne Engels added a second in the 35th minute.
Kelechi Iheanacho added a third in the 73rd minute but moments later Josh Cooper pulled one back for the Pars.
However the Hoops held onto win 3-1.
The Europa Conference League Qualifying Rounds are for domestic cup winners from lower-ranked national associations, high finishers from other lower-ranked associations, and teams dropping out of the Conference League qualifying rounds.
David Gray’s men will find out who they face on 17 June 2026 when the draw is made.
The first tie will take place on Thursday 23 July 2026 with the return leg on Thursday 30 July. 2026.
Should Hibs progress to the third qualifying round, the draw will take place on July 20 with the games taking place on Thursday 6 August 2026 and Thursday 13 August 2026.
If Hibs win that tie, they will do into a play off, the draw for which takes place on 3 August 2026
The ties will take place on Thursday 20 August 2026 and Thursday 27 August 2026.
The Conference League Phase Game Rounds are all Thursday evenings.

Teams finishing 1-8 in the league table get a bye to the Round of 16.
Teams that finish 9-24th will take part in the knockout play-off. That draw ill take place on 15 January 2027. The ties will take place on Thursday 18 February and Thursday 25 February 2027.
The Draw for the Round of 16, Quarterfinals and Semifinals will be held February 26, 2027.
The last 16 round fixtures take place on Thursday 11 March 2027 and Thursday 18 March 2027
The Quarterfinals take place on Thursday 8 April and Thursday 15 April 2027.
The Semifinals take place on Thursday 29 April 2027 and Thursday 6 May 2027.
The final will take place on 2 June 2027, at the Beşiktaş Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
