The Scottish Textiles Showcase has announced a new course to help people who have given up knitting to pick up their needles once again.
The two-week small, friendly knitting refresher course is perfect for anyone who hasn’t knitted for a while and would love to start again.
Under the expert tuition of professional knitting and crochet teacher, Samira Hill, the class will learn to make a gorgeous Aran wool hat with Di Gilpin’s Aran yarn. The classes are taught in a relaxed and encouraging environment, to make sure every knitter learns and gains confidence in all essential knitting skills.

The course runs on Tuesdays 9 and 16 June from 5.45pm – 7.45pm, at the Scottish Textiles Showcase Edinburgh store on St Mary’s Street, just off the Royal Mile.
The total cost includes all patterns and wool – just bring your own needles.
