Four male youths have been charged in connection with thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles.
The 17 incidents happened between Friday, 24 April and Saturday, 25 April, 2026, in the Craiglockhart, Broomyknowe and Bonaly areas of the city.
All four youths will be reported to the relevant authorities.
Chief Inspector Scott Kennedy said. “Our enquiries are continuing into other similar crimes, but we would like to thank the public for their assistance so far.
“If anyone has any concerns about these types of crimes in their local communities, they should contact Police Scotland on 101.”
