East of Scotland tennis stalwart Euan McIntosh captured the £10,000 Tennis Scotland indoor men’s doubles title along with Cameron Fryer at Scotstoun, Glasgow.
The pair lived dangerously when having to rely on third set champions tie-breaks to come through quarter final and semi-final ties
However, the final, against Nemanja Malesevic and Nicolas Rosenweig, was a more straightforward 6-4, 6-3 win for McIntosh,originally from the Blackhall club but now playing out of Whitecraigs and Fryer who, although from Montrose, also represents St Serfs in Edinburgh as well as Thorn Park (Glasgow).
The ladies title was won by GB pair Leah Bush and Teodora Prisadnikova.
