Berwick Bandits have made an early decision to postpone their Cab Direct Championship clash with Scunthorpe Scirpions scheduled for Saturday night.
Multiple forecasts of persistent rain over the next 30 hours led to the decision made at 3pm and it means that the Bandits’ next track action will be at Scunthorpe next Friday before they entertain Redcar at Shielfield Park on 15 May.
Berwick and Redcar will also meet in the semi-final of the BSN Series next months, the Bears defending the trophy they won against Poole in 2025.
The rain-off means that Bandits’ Swedish star Victor Palovaara (pictured) can spend a quiet weekend with the new addition to the family along with fiancé Jody, son Oakley arriving earlier in the week.
