As Ramadan begins, Islamic financial services provider Hejaz has launched a global social campaign inviting people in the UK and around the world to take part in “30 Days of Goodness”.

The initiative, shared under the hashtag #30withHejaz, encourages individuals to post one act of kindness each day throughout the holy month. From helping a neighbour in need to supporting a colleague, making a quiet donation, or simply showing gratitude, the campaign focuses on small, sincere actions carried out consistently over 30 days.

Founder and CEO of Hejaz, Hakan Ozyon, said the idea was to create a shared movement rooted in the values of Ramadan.

“Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity, and community. We wanted to create something that allows people everywhere to participate in a shared movement of goodness. One small act, repeated across thousands of people, becomes something far greater.”

Organisers say early posts have already begun appearing from different countries, highlighting everyday gestures and moments of connection. The aim is to build a collective story of compassion that crosses borders while strengthening bonds within local neighbourhoods.

While centred on daily acts of kindness, the campaign also reflects Hejaz’s broader philosophy that ethical finance and faith go hand in hand.

“In Ramadan, we reflect on generosity, but generosity is not limited to charity,” Ozyon said. “It includes halal earning, responsible investing, supporting community businesses, and building sustainable intergenerational wealth. Financial systems should align with faith, not conflict with it.”

Participants are invited to share their act of goodness on social media, tag three friends and follow @hejazfs to encourage others to join in. A minimum of one entry is required, with unlimited posts allowed during the campaign period.

At the end of Ramadan, one participant will receive USD 5,000 to pay forward in another act of goodness, extending the spirit of the initiative beyond the month itself. However, organisers emphasise that the focus remains on intention rather than competition.

“It was never about performance or numbers,” said Ozyon. “It was about intention. It was about encouraging people to live their values daily and deliberately. If one story inspires another, then we have created something meaningful.”

The campaign runs from 20 February 2026 to 20 March 2026 and is open to participants worldwide, including across the UK.
