Everyone is invited to hop into an egg-straordinary Easter experience at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions.
The venue on Castlehill has a line up of surprises with longer opening hours and also discounted tickets.
Running from 28 March – 19 April, the attraction will be staying open late every day, as well as opening eggstra-early, so visitors will have the chance to enjoy everything on offer at a more relaxed pace. There is also the opportunity for early bunnies to save £4 per ticket when booking admission entry before 9am (online bookings only).
From optical illusions to a giant kaleidosphere, a mirror maze to a spinning vortex tunnel, families will enjoy an Easter trail around the five floors of the attraction. Dizzy, the Camera Obscura’s loveable mascot, has hidden five colourful eggs around the 100 interactive exhibits and visitors are challenged to find them all. A sweet treat will reward all those who find the five eggs.
Alongside the egg-ceptional illusions, guests can experience a live demonstration of the 173-year-old Camera Obscura, bringing Edinburgh’s streets to life without moving a step.
The extended opening hours during the Easter holidays are:
- 30 Mar – 2 Apr 8.30am-9.30pm
- 3-11 Apr 8am-10pm
- 12-18 Apr 8.30am-9.30pm
