In response to concerns raised by local residents, Police Scotland officers conducted speed checks on Frogston Road East earlier this week.

A number of drivers were spoken to and provided advice, and one speeding ticket was issued.

A police spokesperson said: “It was good to see so many people adhering to the 30mph speed limit.

“However, we would like to remind everyone that when you reduce your speed you increase everyone’s safety, including your own.

“A few extra miles per hour might not feel like much, but it can be the difference between stopping safely and a life-changing collision.”
