There is still time to register for Doddie Aid 2026 and help create a world that is truly free of MND.
Doddie Aid is a personal exercise challenge that takes place each year from 1 January to 5 February to raises money for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
The aims of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation are: To fund research into effective treatments for MND and investigate potential cures and to provide grants to help individuals with MND live as fulfilled a life as possible
So far, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation has committed £19.5m to vital MND research, plus £2m to support people living with MND.
For five weeks, participants run, walk, cycle, swim, dance, hop, skip, row…you name it. They then log their miles in the Doddie Aid app.
Whether you want to get in shape, shake off the winter blues, or just enjoy more time outside – Doddie Aid is your chance to set a goal for 2026.
Running, cycling, swimming, dancing, skipping, walking the dog…any exercise counts – you don’t have to be an athlete to make a difference during Doddie Aid.
Simply set yourself a target and enjoy every bit of movement knowing you’re helping to fund vital MND research.
To take part in Doddie Aid – get the Doddie Aid app, register with a £20 donation and select a team to join.
This year you can be a part of team Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales or Rest of World. Doddie Aid has a competitive streak to it too, so the team which has clocked up the most miles when the challenge ends will be crowned the 2026 winner.
You receive an iconic snood for taking part, too.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up, set a goal, and help us reach our goal: a world free of MND.
