Hibs duo Martin Boyle and Jack Iredale and Hearts midfielder Cammy Devlin have been named CommBank Socceroos Head Coach Tony Popovic’s 26-player squad to take on Venezuela and Colombia on Saturday, 15 November and Wednesday, 19 November (AEDT) respectively.
Boyle has been utilised from the bench recently but scored in Hibs 2-2 draw with Livingston last weekend, bringing his total for the season to five.
Iredale returns to the squad for the first time since the FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers against Japan and Saudi Arabia in May. The defender has started nine out of ten games for Hibs this season, and the 29-year-old will hope to do the same for Australia.
Sydney-born 27-year-old, Devlin has been in excellent form this season for the Edinburgh side, who currently lead the Scottish Premiership.
Former Hibs full-back Lewis Miller is also included. Blackburn had a rocky start since his arrival but are now up to 18th place after three successive victories, including two on the road.
Another former Hibs player Jackson Irvine returns to the CommBank Socceroos squad after injury forced him away from football for 195 days in 2025.
The St. Pauli captain is still building his minutes but will be a key component of the squad as they continue preparations for the World Cup next year.
