David Gray wants to see a reaction from his side against Livingston today after they fell to defeat against Rangers midweek .
But he will also be buoyed by his players’ performances against Livingston this season.
The two teams have already met twice during the 2025/26 campaign, with Hibs running out 2-0 winners at the Home of the Set Fare Arena and 4-0 at Easter Road.
But Gray has warned his players against complacency, placing extra importance around the fixture.
“We have no time to dwell on what happened on Wednesday. We’ve been focused on getting ourselves ready for a tough test at Livingston.
“We want our run of performances and results against them to continue, but you can’t take that for granted. It’s always a difficult place to go, you have to contend with the AstroTurf, it’s our third game in six days and Livingston haven’t played midweek. All the excuses are there is you want them, but we don’t.
“We’ve got a strong, fit squad that are capable of competing physically, and we won’t be going into the game thinking it’ll be easy.
“The players need to be ready for a tough test, and I will make sure they are. We want to go there and get three points.”
In terms of team news, Gray expects to have a similar squad to the one that faced Rangers midweek.
“We have a few bumps and bruises from Wednesday night as you’d expect, but nothing significant. Everyone trained this morning.
“This is the third game in six weeks, so there are a few tired legs, but everyone is in a good place. We’ve only got three players that aren’t ready and available, that’s Joe (Newell), Rudi (Molotnikov) and Lass (Alasana Manneh).
“Warren O’Hora trained today, but there’s still a decision to be made on him.”
