Scottish popcorn firm Sephra has announced new distribution points for its product at Wigan Athletic FC and Rugby League’s Wigan Warriors.
The company’s seasoned popcorn is already on sale at Raith Rovers’ Starks Park, as well as the grounds at Dundee United, East Fife, and Manchester City FC.
The new football season at Starks Park is now well underway
Scott Stewart, Business Development Executive from Sephra Popcorn said: “Our first home Derby game against Dunfermline Athletic was certainly a significant one, as there’s always a big crowd, and a terrific atmosphere.
“We are delighted to say that Sephra popcorn has been so popular that it’s now sold in the Raith Rovers shop too.
“We are proud to be covering two of Fife’s football clubs. As the Away shirt sponsor for Raith Rovers though, and with our Managing Director, David Archer, a lifelong Rovers fan, what our fans think of the popcorn is very important to us indeed,” continued Scott. “Our social media team has been very busy engaging with fans, and finding out what they think of the popcorn, and we’re going to ask some of the Rovers players to do a blind test, guessing different popcorn flavours. Additionally, we plan to get them along to our Sephra Test Kitchen, here in Kirkcaldy, having fun with crepe and waffle making challenges, adding popcorn as a garnish. We will rate their skills, it will be a lot of fun!
“Overall, our sponsorship of Away Strip, together with having the popcorn for sale in the stadium, is a fantastic showcase for Sephra Popcorn. It’s been brilliant to sign up two new clubs over the summer, Wigan FC and Wigan Warriers. You’ll also find Sephra Popcorn in theatres, cinemas, and across many supermarkets in the UK, such as Asda and Morrisons.
Wet popped in the traditional way, and sealed fresh, deliciously seasoned Sephra Popcorn is packed with flavour, offering a long shelf life. Its special kernels produce large, round puffs of popcorn to enhance the texture and taste. The result is a popcorn experience where every piece is packed with flavour.
