No two nights are the same at Not Another Quiz Night currently selling out to capacity crowds in Underground at Assembly in George Square, but you are guaranteed a fun five star night out.
The host Jake Bhardwal has reimagined the quiz which is more than just questions – and you will be up on your feet taking part enthusiastically along with everyone else. It is a riot with a live DJ and “celebrity” guests as well as the host.
But all of this is made to look deceptively easy by Jake who has honed his craft as a producer on shows like Late Night Lycett and The Last Leg. His energy is genuinely infectious and so I set him a challenge – firs too all to climb Calton Hill (tricky after a late night show) and secondly to ask me five Edinburgh-related questions. I think I did okay…
This is a performer who takes stand up into the quiz situation with his fast talking style.
This is a must see at this year’s Fringe.
