Craig Gordon signed a contract extension with Hearts and declared: “Another season, another chance to achieve.”
The 42-year-old goalkeeper (pictured by David Mollison) will stay at Tynecastle until next summer and he told Hearts official website: “It’s a huge honour to continue playing for this great club.
“I took my time to come to this decision. I wanted to make sure it was right and I’m looking forward to the new season, determined to make it better than the last.”
Gordon is also keen to be part of the new era under recently-appointed manager, Derek McInness, and he said: “I am ready to do all I can to help get this team back to where we want to be.”
