Job seekers in southwest Edinburgh will have the opportunity to meet more than 25 prospective employers as part of the jobs fair hosted by Space @ The Broomhouse Hub’s Training Academy.

The event will take place between 2-4 pm on Thursday, 23 May, 2024, and will also feature volunteering and training opportunities.

The free event is supported by organisations from all over Edinburgh and will include complimentary food and refreshments for those attending as they consider their career options.

Space Employability Project Manager Joyce Juma-Phiri said: “Job seekers can explore different industries and job opportunities, increasing their chances of finding the right fit.

“The event is also ideal for those unsure of their next step, wanting a career change, or looking for more information about a particular industry.”

Community members are invited to meet informally with potential employers from a range of companies, get insight into the application and interview processes, and make enquiries about their options.

Juma-Phiri added: “Everyone is welcome! As there are so many different employers attending, there are opportunities for all ages and levels of experience, whether you’re a recent graduate, considering a career change, or want to give back to the community.”

While entry is free, participants must register in advance: https://helix.scot/events/jobs-fair-broomhouse-may/.
