In the first Featured Artist exhibition of 2024, Southside gallery Art & Craft Collective presents two artists in one redesigned exhibition space.
Opening on Saturday April 13 and running until Saturday May 18, ‘Hunkersliding’ presents landscape paintings by Karen Monaghan, an artist now living in East Lothian who was born in Buccleuch Terrace and grew up around The Meadows, close to the gallery.Â
‘Nature’s Light’ a retrospective of urban photography by Peter Valente is an exploration of the interplay of the natural with the man made.
Both artists will be in the gallery from 2.30 pm on Saturday April 13 to discuss their inspiration and process.
